Clemens Brünenberg studied architecture at the University of Karlsruhe (now KIT) and completed his doctorate at the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg on the subject of “The Baths of Baalbek/Heliopolis.Investigations into a bath building from the Severan period”.

After several scientific stations, including at the German Archaeological Institute or in the Department of Monument Preservation at the Karlsruhe Regional Council and as a research assistant at our Department of Classical Archaeology, he will take over the W2 TT professorship at the Department of Architecture from 01.12.2023.
